Happy New Year from the Escalon Chamber of Commerce. As we look back over 2014 we find that many of our goals were completed, and yet it is with excitement that we head into the new year with high hopes to give more support to the community and especially our merchants.
We begin the year with the Annual meeting January 13th at 5:30 in the Library with election of officers and taking a look at our revised bylaws. We will be adding to the Board in order to share more of the workload. We are all volunteers and work hard to cover all of the bases for the Chamber and full time job responsibility.
The Chamber has a few needs that you might be the perfect person to fulfill:
- Ambassadors - To contact new as well as current members to support their business needs - to encourage businesses to join the Chamber.
- Activity coordinator - set up monthly networking opportunities such as Coffees, Mixers, or Ribbon cuttings and work with the merchant to create a successful event.
- Volunteers to work on individual events that need extra personnel.
