Continuation Scholarship Program
Working in conjunction with the University of Pacific and San Joaquin Delta Community College, the Escalon Chamber of Commerce has set up a scholarship program for members of the chamber to educate local workforce in skills necessary for thriving competition in a business environment, encourage the accomplishment and growth of local businesses and workforce through new and updated tools, assist new businesses in achieving success by expanding the educational resources available. Members of the Escalon Chamber of Commerce will be able to link to the sites of both UOP and SJDCC through the Chamber website,”shop” for classes and seminars that may be beneficial to their business or employees, and sign-up for the classes and seminars through the Chamber. On a first-come -first-served basis,two applications (tuition and lab fees) will be paid by the Chamber each trimester.
The purpose is to enable members of Escalon Chamber of Commerce to; acquire, strengthen and update business skills; train workforce; and create opportunities for better and stronger competitive activities.
Members will be able to access the community education sites for both the University of Pacific and San Joaquin Delta College.Members can choose for the collages a seminar to attend
Members desiring to attend a seminar will apply for the seminar through the Escalon Chamber of Commerce, submitting

Any applicable lab fees
The first two applications received by the Chamber will be available for scholarship funds each trimester (spring, summer, fall)
Members who have received a scholarshiare unable to apply for a new scholarship for one year/ Since the tuition and lab fees are nonrefundable, failure to attend the course or seminar des not negate this
The Chamber will submit the application to the appropriate college and make the appropriate payment.
