Once again summer is upon us. This is a time for family vacations, explorations, Small Town Roots, Park Fete and an August Sunday in the Park. We know that many of you will be heading out of town, so we encourage you to Think Escalon first for those last minute purchases. The Farmer’s Market has several of the same vendors as last year and a few fun new ones. For those of us who have been saying if only we had a Farmer’s Market we would be so happy. Let’s show the McCoys just how grateful we are to have them open again this year, Be sure to drop in and check out the offerings. Support small business is how they succeed.
Who wants to share their home based business with more people? On Sunday August 4th, a member vendor fair will be held along with the other activities at our Sunday in the Park event along with three Ribbon Cuttings for our new members. All that is necessary to vendor is a business license and be a member of the Chamber. This is a free event for all Chamber members. It is our goal as a Chamber to support the home-based and small businesses in town. At the event, we plan to set up a support group for those of you who would like to network and support one another. We will also be asking what types of workshops would best support your business.
Drop by the Kid’s Coral at Park Fete for the petting zoo, face paint and games. Sign up for the Chalk Art Contest early there are limited spots available. Plans are already in progress for the Wine and Brew Stroll to be held on September 14th from 5:30 to 8:30. Sponsors and volunteers are welcome.
